Questions
Do we have to buy radios?
No. Start with the phones your people already carry and add rugged PoC radios where a hardware key matters. Everyone talks on the same channels.
What happens without internet?
Phones, radios and the console need LTE or Wi-Fi. Sensors in places without Wi-Fi can connect over LoRaWAN through a gateway on site. Spots without coverage are mapped before the pilot starts.
Where do our conversations and data live?
On a PRIVOX server — in our cloud, or on your premises if conversations must stay inside your perimeter.
Which radios work with PRIVOX?
Android PoC radios with a hardware PTT key — such as the Inrico T320 — and any Android phone or iPhone. Using another model? Tell us which, and we will set up its keys.
Can contractors get temporary access?
Yes. Accounts and groups can carry an end date and lapse on their own. People join by scanning a personal QR card.
