Sensors built into your team’s communication and processes

Temperature, water, doors, motion, pumps and smoke. Every sensor gets its own limits and its own people. The alarm reaches the right radio, phone and console, someone accepts it, and it closes when the sensor is back to normal.

How a sensor reaches your team

  1. 01Sensor

On a battery, no cables. Sends readings every few minutes, and at once when something changes.

  2. 02Gateway on site

One box hears every sensor on the site: buildings, yards, cellars. It goes online over your internet line or its own SIM card.

  3. 03PRIVOX

Each sensor has its own limits and its own group. The alarm is raised once, when a limit is crossed. A silent sensor is an alarm too.

  4. 04Your team

Radios and phones of the group ring, even a sleeping phone. The office console opens an incident to accept. A manager can also get it in Telegram.

  • No Wi-Fi needed on site

Sensors reach the gateway by radio over long distances, through walls and into cellars.

  • Sensors you already have

LoRaWAN sensors from other makers, Wi-Fi sensors, or alarms from your controllers via webhook, e-mail or MQTT.

  • Your server or ours

Readings and alarms stay on a PRIVOX server, in our cloud or on your premises.

Choose your industry and set off a sensor

Pick an industry, then one of its sensors. You will see what goes wrong, how the alarm reaches the console and the radio, who accepts it and when it is closed.

Sensors we connect

Industrial LoRaWAN sensors in sealed housings, on batteries. Each one gets its own limits and the people it alerts.

  • Door and gate contact

    Watches
Open or closed, how long it stays open, how often it opens
    Alarm
Open longer than 10 minutes → the shift on duty
  • Water level

    Watches
Level in a tank or trough, measured from above
    Alarm
    Below 25 % → the technician
  • Temperature and humidity

    Watches
    Air temperature and humidity
    Alarm
Above 28 °C → the engineer on call
  • Temperature probe

    Watches
Temperature inside a tank, a cold room or a grain heap, through a steel probe on a cable
    Alarm
Above 6 °C → the person on duty, at night too
  • Leak and flood

    Watches
Water on the floor, at one spot or along a cable around the room
    Alarm
Water on the floor → the plumber on call
  • Current clamp

    Watches
Whether a machine draws power: running, stopped, power cut
    Alarm
Pump stopped for 5 minutes → the technician
  • Motion

    Watches
Movement of people or animals, and the light level
    Alarm
Movement in a locked building → the guard on duty
  • Smoke

    Watches
    Smoke in the room
    Alarm
Smoke → every radio and phone on the site

Questions

Do we need Wi-Fi where the sensors are?

No. Sensors send their readings by radio to one gateway on site. The gateway goes online through your internet line or its own SIM card.

Can you connect the sensors we already have?

Usually, yes. Standard LoRaWAN sensors connect through the gateway; controllers and loggers can send alarms by webhook, e-mail or MQTT. Tell us what is installed and we will check.

Who gets the alarm at night?

The group you choose for each sensor: the person on call, the shift lead, the manager. Phones ring even when asleep, and the console shows whether someone has accepted.

What if a sensor stops sending?

Silence is an alarm too. If a sensor has not reported for longer than expected, its group is told, so a flat battery is found before it matters.

How do we start?

With one site and a few sensors. We choose them with you, install the gateway, set the limits and groups, and run it with your team.

Start with one real site

We set PRIVOX up on one of your sites — with your people, your channels and your sensors — and agree up front what a good result looks like.

or write to eugene@privox.tech
  1. A 20-minute call

We go through your sites, shifts and the alarms that matter most.

  2. A live demo on your devices

Phones, radios and the console — on your site or remotely.

  3. A pilot on one site

Your shift works on PRIVOX. Together we measure how fast alarms reach people and get an answer.
